There has been so much going on with our family lately that I did not have so much time to do scrapbooking. This time it seems for real that everything is going to be better and better from now on... Fingers crossed!
And here is my new project - a brooch. It is the first time I am trying something like this, he he. It is my daughter who asked me if I could do it to her, and how could I say ´no´ to her, he he...
Good morning today I am sharing a peachy coloured card with you as I needed a cheery card with all this cold weather.
I have used one of the new to be released images from Lili of the Valley, I have coloured with markers and pencils, I have used Nitwit papers these ones are Thimbles 'n' Threads, I have as always distressed the edges, the sentiment is from the Everyday Grungy Messages....
Hello, everyone and welcome to the Wild Orchid Crafts blog! We are so happy to see you today and hope that you will return each day to gather inspiration, ideas, and suggestions from the DT! We all use the wonderful WOC products on a regular basis and can verify how marvelous they are!!
When I colored this old stamp from Magnolia with my Distress Markers, the girl came out to be Princess Merida from the movie Brave. Have'nt you seen it yet, SEE it! A wonderul movie that I laughed a lot at and one tear or another was near to fall down my cheeks. ;)
Maybe this card is meant to be a push for someone to be...brave. :)
Today I like to show you a card made on a brown paperbag. I painted it with white acrylic first, before I attached the papers. All papers and motif are from Pion Design and stamps are from Kort og Godt. Dies are from Spellbinders.
Today I have made a patchwork type card. I love the look of the doily on it. I also used Wild Orchid Crafts adorable wooden buttons. I hope they get restocked soon. I used a lot of cream and white flowers, I wanted to go for that shabby chic look.
If you don't know what to look for in the Wild Orchid Craft shop sometimes I like to search by color.
For example if you just bought a pack of paper and it has alot of light blue. type baby blue in the search, or even just blue. Sometimes you will find things you didn't even know was in the store. :)
Here is a beautiful cold but very sunny Sunday outside and I am presenting you my new creation - a Wedding Chair. No no, not a real one, just a centrepiece for bride and groom. I am showing just one of them, but there will be two, with the names on the front of each chair on a label.
It is very difficult to make a good photo of a white creation, but hopefully you will enjoy it even if it is a little bit grey, he he...
