Love me do

Hello everybody,

Today I want to show you a card I did some time ago. This card left the box it was kept in since I made it the past weekend and while finishing it to give away I realized I haven't shown this card on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog yet and since I personally really love the flowers on this card I felt it was about time to do so.
The adorable image is Love me Do by Wee Stamps. I first decided on the red and white color combination for the card, picked out my papers which are mostly red and decided the embellishments needed to be strictly white.
A close up of the image as always colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced.
And a close up of the gorgeous flowers with just a touch of glitter on them. I absolutely love working with Trellis roses in the center of a flower cluster as they immediately give the cluster something luxurious.

Hope you like my card and find some inspiration in it. Have a fabulous day!

Materials used from Wild Orchid Crafts:
White Self Adhesive Pearls 3mm
White Trellis Roses 35mm
White Sweetheart Blossoms
White Open Roses 25mm
White Open Roses 10mm
The swirl of pearls that I used was from stash but WOC now has some gorgeous white pearl (and rhinestone) flourishes that I wish I had owned when I made this card HERE

Butterfly Net

Hi there, this week’s project has a bit of a vintagey feel to it.  I love these colours, so pretty and they work so well with the new mixed pastel magnolias which are my current favourite flowers.  I just love them!

Lace, pearls and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Flowers used are mixed pastel magnolias, cosmos daisies and open roses (25mm, 15mm) and rose buds.

Hello from Monika

Hello everybody.
My name  is Monika Jakubowska also known as Monia. I`m a proud new member of Wild Orchid Crafts Design Team.
I live in a small town in the east of Poland, with my husband and two children. I discovered my love for paper crafting in 2008. I dreamed to make a vintage, full of memories album, but I couldn`t. So I started to learn how to do it and I still learn something new every day.
I love creating cards, layouts and mini albums. In my projects you can always find a lot of flowers, laces, bling and die cuts. I just love working with flowers, it gives me a lot of inspiration.
Crafting is a great gift. It gives me the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful, talented people around the world. And now I`m so trilled to be a part of a brilliant Wild Orchid Crafts Design Team.

Sally with Snowball and a bit of snow here and there

Hello everybody,

Today I'd like to show you my second Christmas card of this year, even though it doesn't have a sentiment on the outside :). I decided to try out an image by an artist who is pretty new to me, Conie Fong.
Isn't that image just adorable? She's called Sally and Snowball and is available as a rubber stamp HERE and as a digi HERE. I've added some snow here and there for an extra wintery card. I love the wintery effect a bit of snow gives to flowers. I think that way you can use pretty much any flower on a Christmas card.
Here is a close up of sweet little Sally, as always colored with Copic markers and 3D paper pieced.
A close up of the pretty flowers with their snow.
And a close up of the flowers on the other side of the image with the gorgeous Crown Pins.

Hope you like my card! Have a fabulous day everybody!!
